Home + Pool

Custom Home and Pool Construction, One Builder

Most builders do the house or the pool. Zeta Construction builds both, plus the outdoor living, as one project: from the plan to the finished home with its pool.

Why one builder

Five reasons to build them together

A pool added after the house is finished has to work around what is already there. Built together, the pool is part of the design from the first line.

  1. 1

    One site plan

The pool is designed with the house: levels, drainage, setbacks, views and the path of the sun are solved once, on the same drawing.

  2. 2

    Utilities ready from day one

Electrical, gas and plumbing for the pool equipment and the outdoor kitchen are planned and roughed in while the house is built.

  3. 3

    One schedule

The pool is built while the interior of the house is finished, so you move in with the backyard ready, not with a second project ahead.

  4. 4

    One contract, one team

One builder answers for the house, the pool and the outdoor living. No finger-pointing between companies when something needs fixing.

  5. 5

    Nothing torn up later

Excavators and concrete trucks never cross a finished lawn, driveway or patio, because the pool is built before the landscaping goes in.

One schedule

The pool is built while the house is finished

Two projects in sequence become one project with overlapping phases.

  1. 1

    Plan both together

House, pool, deck and outdoor kitchen on one site plan, with levels and drainage solved once.

  2. 2

    Permit together

Home and pool permits are prepared together, so neither one waits on the other.

  3. 3

    Build in parallel

Once the house is under roof, the pool is excavated and built while the interior is finished.

  4. 4

    Finish together

Pool interior, decks, enclosure and landscaping close out with the house.

  5. 5

    Move in

One final walkthrough for the home and the backyard, with one warranty and one team to call.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Another question? Call (813) 610-9805

Why build the house and the pool at the same time?

Because the pool is designed with the house instead of squeezed in later. Levels, drainage, utilities and access are planned once, nothing finished has to be torn up, and you move in with the backyard ready.

Does it cost less than building the pool later?

It avoids costs that only appear when a pool is added to a finished property: access through a completed yard, rerouting utilities, replacing sod, irrigation or pavers, and a second round of mobilization and permits. Your itemized estimate shows the home, the pool and the outdoor living as separate lines.

Can the pool be included in my construction loan?

Many lenders allow the pool and outdoor living to be part of the construction loan for a new home. That decision is your lender’s; we provide the itemized estimate, plans and schedule they usually ask for.

How long does a home and pool project take?

It depends on the size of the home, the design and permitting times in your county. Because the pool is built while the house is finished, it usually adds little or no time to the home schedule. You receive a written schedule with your estimate.

I already have a house. Can you still help?

Yes. We build new pools and outdoor living for existing homes, and we remodel, add on and renovate pools, so the same one-builder approach works for a renovation project too.
